Dancer's applied definitions.
A breakdown in footwork vs isolations and how they apply to micro vs macro elements of fusion.
A few key definitions will be breaking down a dancer's center point of balance, how that applies to movement, swivels, spins, turns, a breakdown of checks, breaks, rocks, leans, and steps. An intro into a dancer's most common rhythms.

Shawn Clark
SHAWN CLARK has been a working professional dancer since age 14, with extensive training and teaching experience across all forms of partner dance, with particular emphasis in ballroom and swing. A veteran of many studios and styles, he brings a translational and cross-disciplinary style to teaching connection and quality of movement. He has competed in Open Professional American Rhythm and Smooth, and is currently competing on the West Coast Swing circuit.
PATRICK HAUGEN will be around to check you in and ensure water is filled and assist with any other needs.
